Returns and Exchanges Policy
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
In the spirit of good business practice to eliminate any confusion or dissatisfaction please read the following terms and conditions below.
Coastal Style Gifts wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We offer a 15-day return policy. If you are unhappy for any reason, please email us at contactus@CoastalStyleGifts.com and we'll do everything we can to earn your business. If you are still not satisfied we will be happy to assist you with a return, exchange, or replacement.
Please note: Items listed as a retired stock, final sale, corporate or large quantity item orders, special or custom orders, or free promotional items are not eligible for a return or exchange except in the case of of an incorrect order or a damaged and/or defective item. PRIOR to ordering large quantities of one or more items we strongly encourage you to place a small sample order first. How do I return or exchange an item(s)?
Please email us at contactus@CoastalStyleGifts.com to obtain a Return Authorization ("RA") number within 15 days from the receipt of your order. When requesting an RA number, please provide the following information:
1.) Online Order Number.
2.) Description of the item(s) you are returning.
3.) A brief description of the reason you are returning the item(s).
4.) Action to be taken such as refund, credit, or exchange/replace.
You will receive your RA# within 24 hours when request is sent during our business hours (M-F 8:00-4:30 pm EST).
Once you have received an RA number, please complete the Return Authorization Form or Returns and Exchanges Form that will accompany the RA number. Please make sure this information is included in your return package.
Please return the package to the address provided with your RA number within 7 days from the date you receive the RA number. The item(s) must be returned in the original condition with all packaging materials and the return package should be properly packed and secured. The RA number you are issued MUST appear on the outside of the box. You may use any carrier you wish but for your protection we strongly urge you to send your return via a pre-paid, insured, and traceable method. We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit. Original shipping and return shipping costs will not be credited.
Upon receipt of your return package, the item(s) will be inspected to ensure they are unused, unwashed, and in a re-sellable condition. They must also include the original packaging. In the event the returned items are damaged in transit or do not meet the conditions previously listed, you will be notified by the email address you provided,the item(s) will be returned to you and the return, exchange, or refund request cancelled. Please allow up to two weeks for processing.
Return and Exchange Terms and Conditions
All return and exchange requests must include the original packing slip(s).
All returns and exchanges must be in un-used, un-washed, and in re-sellable condition. Returns showing evidence of use will not be accepted.
Original shipping costs and return shipping costs will not be included in a refund*. Please note a re-stocking fee will apply (see below).
*Exchange requests are subject to shipping costs except in the event that an incorrect item was sent, or that the item was damaged or defective.
Beginning January 1, 2013 all returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund amount. Additional manufacturer restocking fees may apply and will be noted in the product's description. The restocking fee is based on the original sale price of an item BEFORE any discounts are applied.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS:
Items Listed as Retired Stock, Final Sale, or Items that are Free Promotional Items
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted on items listed as retired stock, final sale, or are free/promotional item(s) except in the case of an incorrect order or a damaged and/or defective product. Please refer to the Replacement Terms and Conditons for Damaged and Defective Items listed below.
Large Quanity or Corporate Orders
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted on Large Quanity or Corporate Orders except in the case of a damaged or defective item(s). PRIOR to ordering large quanities of any one or more item we encourage you to place a small sample order first. We reserve the right to determine what is a Large Quanity or Corporate Order. Most orders over $500.00 before sales tax and shipping and most orders containg more than 4 of any one item may be considered a large quanity or corporate order and will be subject to the associated terms and conditons. Customer Ordered Items
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted on Custom Ordered item(s) except in the case of an incorrect order or a damaged or defective product. Please review your Custom Order item(s) carefully when checking out and again upon receipt. Items that are considered Custom Ordered are clearly marked in the product's description.
Replacement Terms and Conditions for Damaged or Defective Items
We take care to ensure that your merchandise is well packed and safely delivered. However, in the event you receive a damage or defective item please email us at contactus@CoastalStyleGifts.com within 48 hours from delivery and we'll be happy to assist you in sending a replacement. Damaged or defective items will be replaced only. Enclosed with your replacement item(s) shipment will be a pre-paid return label with instructions for returning the damaged item(s).
We'll need to charge you for the replacement item(s) and applicable shipping costs but once we receive your return, we'll credit you for the cost of the original item(s) plus associated shipping costs.
